With Simon Callow and musicians after the successful launch of Conchord Festival 2016

Emily's interest in the relationship between music and other disciplines started in her undergraduate degree at Yale University where she studied English as a Humanities major. She has been actively involved in programming for the London Conchord Ensemble since its foundation in 2002. She has brought guests including Simon Callow, Dame Felicity Lott, Michael Berkeley, and Roderick Williams to collaborate with the ensemble.  In 2015 she arranged a joint commission with the Charleston Literary Festival - The Rhythm of Silence written by Alexandra Spencer Jones - in which actors from Action to the Word Theatre Company and Conchord, alongside the acclaimed Juliet Stevenson, performed a synthesis of Benjamin Britten's Phantasy Quartet Op 2 and Virginia Woolf's 'The Waves'.

Emily has been the Artistic Director of London Conchord Ensemble's two festivals: Conchord at Rathfinny, a festival of chamber music at Rathfinny Vineyard, and Conchord Festival which took place in London's 'Arcadia', Twickenham Riverside in June 2016.
